Dave Cantrell began his entrepreneurial career at the age of nine buying, expanding, and reselling newspaper routes, and graduated into a teenage landscape service business owner with over 100 clients and three employees (friends working for $1 an hour) in the 1950s. He was a Kent State architecture student with a house trailer renting rooms until, after returning from Mexico as a foreign exchange student during the Vietnam War, he was recruited and became a world renowned government Security Agency training aids assistant production director and book illustrator (in the 1960s). Dave was a computer era pioneer, owner of thirty-two business service operations including one of the world's first computerized printing businesses, computerized typesetting businesses, computerized telephone dictation businesses, computerized sign businesses, computerized dating services, computerized 'virtual office' complexes, and even a computerized antique village mall - from 1965 to 1976. Dave's experiences also included being a Realtor and real estate investor, Ohio Antique Dealer Association President, an Ohio stock broker, and bought an old high school building to pioneer 'entrepreneurial education' in the 1970s.

In the 1980s Dave was the world's first Entrepreneurial Education website developer, a pioneer in barter education, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the world's first, oldest, and largest barter company with over 14,000 members in 250 cities in four countries. Dave was also owner of the fastest growing barter education organization in the early 1980s, owner of the world's first barter web site, and owner of the world's first (and only) network of 5000+ square foot barter show room stores and weekly barter auctions! In the 1980s, Dave was also a Columbus Ohio Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program graduate, medical marketing, sales, and travel agent consultant for a past president of the International Board of Cosmetic Surgeons. In the 1990s, Dave became a full time (retired) RV traveler, commercial hot air balloon pilot instructor, and a Cruise Line International (CLIA) certified Master Cruise Consultant with a college degree in travel.

Currently, Dave is now a retired SBA SCORE business start-up and expansion consultant, University of Nevada certified Master Gardener specializing in natural insect pest control, and a National Association of Charitable Estate Counselors certified Philanthropic Development Officer. He has also uncovered the least expensive way to purify water and discovered a 3000 year old documented fragrance that people love and insects (literally) die for. He formed the SHARE Alliance Foundation to raise funds to save the lives of millions of children (and their families) threatened with malaria and other insect and water borne diseases.

Dave Cantrell is also the founder of WICC, the World International Chamber of Commerce.
