What is the average age of a Social Register member?
The typical age is approximately 32 to 55. We do have younger and we do have older. You must be at least 21 years of age in order to join because we serve liquor at our events.
How many single members do you have?
We have over 450 single members at this time. It is pretty evenly split 50% men and 50% women.
Do you ever have any single events?
Yes, we will be reactivating our single events.
I don't drink liquor........is that a problem.......or does everyone drink in this organization?
No, that certainly is NOT a problem. We have many members that prefer to drink soft drinks or bottled water instead. This is NOT a drinking organization. Our members do drink socially but certainly not in excess!
I don't like to be around smokers....is there smoking at these events?
No, absolutely not. If someone prefers to smoke, they MUST go outside to do so. Tables and ashtrays are provided outside for those that do wish to smoke.
Do you have a lot of "black tie" events?
In our annual surveys, our members have consistently voted for the following attire
The 1st choice was - Casual Attire
The 2nd choice was - Business Attire
The 3rd choice was - Cocktail Attire
Last but not least,
the 4th choice was Black Tie Attire
So we have one (1) black tie event per year, mixed in with the other combinations. But, remember......our members receive (through our Members Mailing Services) numerous invitations to black tie events each year.
What percentage of members live here in Las Vegas?
99% of our members live here in Las Vegas. Some members have a home here and a home elsewhere.
What types of professionals do you have in your membership?
Our membership includes a wide range of professionals - everything from CEO's, Doctors, Attorneys and Architects to GM's. We also have all types of businesses - from small, "mom and pop" businesses to multi-million dollar corporations...and everything else in between.
Are children ever allowed at your events?
Yes, we have had one event that children were allowed to attend, our "Spring into Space" event with guest celebrity Astronaut Buzz Aldrin. This event featured a martian band, and of course martian food (purple hot dog buns, black hot dogs, green potato salad, etc.), and also included a benefit for a local children's charity.
